South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea and often referred to as Korea is a presidential republic in East Asia, occupying the southern half of the Korean Peninsula. Also known as the "Land of the Morning Calm", it is neighbored by China to the west, Japan to the east and North Korea to the north. South Korea's capital and largest city is Seoul, the second largest metropolitan city in the world.
Korea has a history of 5,000 years and is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, with its foundation dating back to 2333 BC by the legendary Dangun. The Korean Peninsula was first inhabited as early as the Lower Paleolithic.Following the unification of the Three Korean Kingdoms under Silla in AD 668, Korea went through the Goryeo and Joseon Dynasty as one nation until the end of the Korean Empire in 1910. After division, South Korea was established in 1948 and has since developed a successful democracy, maintaining a strong alliance with the United States. South Korea is now working towards a peaceful reunification with North.

WATERFORD
- Weather:
- In Waterford usually the weather is bad, always cloudly, usually raining... but it means that the fields will be usually or always green.
- Sports:
- Gaelic Football: Gaelic football is played by teams of 15 on a rectangular grass pitch with H-shaped goals at each end. The primary object is to score by kicking or striking the ball with the hand and getting it through the goals. The team with the highest score at the end of the match wins.
- Hurling: Hurling is an outdoor team sport of ancient Gaelic origin, administered by the Gaelic Athletic Association, and played with sticks and a sliotar. The game, played primarily in Ireland, has prehistoric origins and is the world's fastest field team sport in terms of game play. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, number of players, and much terminology. There is a similar game for women called camogie.
The object of the game is for players to use a wooden axe-shaped stick called a hurley or hurl to hit a small ball called a sliotar between the opponents' goalposts either over the crossbar for one point, or under the crossbar into a net guarded by a goalkeeper for one goal, which is equivalent to three points.
- Rugby: Rugby union is an outdoor contact sport played with a prolate spheroid-shaped ball by two teams of 15 players. It is one of the two main codes of rugby football, the other being rugb league. There is also a seven-a-side variant named rugby sevens, which is played under modified laws and with only seven players per team. Rugby union is often referred to as simply rugby, or as football, and in regions where rugby league is played, as union.

DUBLIN
Dublin is one of the constituent cities in the Dublin-Belfast corridor region which has a population of just under 3 million.
The name Dublin is a Hiberno-English derivative of 'Dubh Linn' (Irish, dubh -> black, and linn -> pool). Historically, in the traditional Gaelic script used for the Irish language, 'bh' was written with a dot over the 'b', viz 'Duḃ Linn' or 'Duḃlinn'. The French-speaking Normans omitted the dot and spelled the name variously as 'Develyn' or 'Dublin'.
The common name for the city in Modern Irish is 'Baile Átha Cliath' ('The Settlement of the Ford of the Reed Hurdles'). 'Áth Cliath' is a place-name referring to a fording point of the Liffey in the vicinity of Heuston Station. 'Baile Átha Cliath' was later applied to an early Christian monastery which is believed to have been situated in the area of Aungier Street currently occupied by St Valentine's (Roman Catholic) church. Due to its length, it is sometimes abbreviated as BÁC. A person from either the city or county of Dublin is often referred to as a "Dub"
The subsequent Scandinavian settlement was on the River Poddle, a tributary of the Liffey, to the East of Christchurch, in the area known as Wood Quay. The Dubh Linn was a lake used by the Scandinavians to moor their ships and was connected to the Liffey by the Poddle. The Dubh Linn and Poddle were covered during the early 1800s, and as the city expanded they were largely forgotten about. The Dubh Linn was situated in the area of the park of the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin Castle.
KILKENNY
Opinion: I think that Kilkenny is very interesting because we learnt many historical things about Ireland and his history. it wasn't too funny but it has been very interesting and education.

WATERFORD
The county offers a dazzling coastline, beautiful river valleys and two dramatic ranges of very accessible mountains.
Waterford City was established in Viking times and it has an exciting medieval flavour and riverside bustle. In 2005 the City was host to the Tall Ships Race.
The City is the home of Waterford Crystal, a lifestyle product of exquisite craftsmanship.
Dungarvan, the administrative capital for the county, is set in a broad, magnificent bay.
In between are lively and quiet Seaside Resorts like Tramore, the spectacular Geopark on the Copper Coast, and lovely mountain & river valley towns and villages.
Houses & Gardens, where grace and beauty can be admired at leisure, are part of a rich heritage which includes Pre-Historic & Historic Sites.
The town of Lismore was originally a monastic settlement founded in the 7th Century by St. Carthage, a Heritage Town, it was the centre of ecclesiastical and temporal power for centuries.
Sophisticated fashion stores and high quality craft centres complete a holiday picture that is sure to please.
Waterford
Waterford is the largest city in Ireland to retain its Viking-derived name, Vedrarfjord. Reginald's Tower is the oldest urban civic building in Ireland, and the oldest monument to retain its Viking name. It is to this day Waterford's most recognisable landmark. The tower is believed to be the first building in Ireland to use mortar.
